I. PURPOSE

The purpose of DWG is to form a gathering of like-minded players of video games. Applicants must be 18 year or older. *Special considerations may be made for applicants aged less than 18 years of age. Applications for membership are taken on The DWG Clan's website. A leader must absolutely not use any offensive language or aggressive swears when regarding other players. Additionally a leader must be able to keep his or her cool, especially in training sessions, Tournaments, Ladders, and matchmaking. There will be no abuse of power such as demoting a member simply because you don’t like them. A leader will always make decisions based on what is best for the clan, not his or herself. Moreover they are not to give anyone special treatment. Finally a leader is never rude to fellow clan members and supports both the competitive and non-competitive groups.

He/She will report back to the clan any wins or loses they have obtained (post in clan news). It is highly recommended that Team leaders utilize a “capture card” to submit proof of wins/lose within competitive websites and to review during practices. Team Leaders will name their team (Keep it clean). Team’s size should comprise of as many members as their game’s competitive settings dictate.

Competitive Co-Team leader(s)

He/she is in charge in the absence of the Team Leader. He/She does not have the power to change any scheduled practices or event.
If you cannot attend any of these practices, it is very unlikely that you will be accepted by one of the competitive teams. We require your attendances and participation so that we can build teamwork and tactics. Also because it's just more fun to play with more people you know!
If you are unable to attend a particular practice once you join a competitive team, it's as simple as letting your Team Leader and/or Co-Team Leader know beforehand. We monitor the attendance of our members and allow for a maximum of up to six unexcused absences (though it may be less depending on your team) before taking actions against the member including but not limited to banning or demoting the member.
