THIS DOCUMENT SERVES AS THE CHARTER AND BYLAWS OF THE DWG CLAN (HENCEFORTH "THE CLAN" OR "DWG".)

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THE FOLLOW BYLAWS, RULES, & REGULATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.  ALL CHANGES WILL BE POSTED IN THE CLAN NEWS SOME MINOR CHANGES WILL GO INTO EFFECT INSTANTLY. MAJOR CHANGES WILL GO INTO FULL EFFECT TWO WEEK FROM DATE OF POST.

I. PURPOSE

The purpose of DWG is to form a gathering of like-minded players of video games. The clan is a competitive clan but does not exist solely for competition; we welcome non-competitive members to the DWG. The clan was formed as a Group to represent the parent website/owner www.destructiveworldgaming.com.

Competitive

DWG is a competitive base organization, a group of dedicated amateur or semi PRO gamers who come together to learn the skills necessary to succeed in the PRO scene. A group of competitive gamers seeking to improve their skill level in their chosen game.

Community

As a community, DWG wants our members to interact with each other to pursue common goals and interests. One subset of these interactions is often the formation of community teams. A community team is a group of members that come together to form a team to have fun, learn, and inspire others in the community.

II. LEADERSHIP

The leader of the clan is Richard a.k.a. “SIN ART” and Co-leader TBA. While clan issues will mostly be decided democratically with votes from the voting membership, the leadership (board) of the clan has final say in all matters pertaining to the clan.

III. MEMBERSHIP

Membership in DWG is open to all persons regardless of sex, race, religion or ethnic background. Applicants must be 18 year or older. *Special considerations may be made for applicants aged less than 18 years of age. Applications for membership are taken on The DWG Clan's website. All applications will be accepted, and applicants voted on by the current voting membership, with a majority vote signaling acceptance of the applicant. There will be different division and levels within each division. Each division will have their own special requirements. All members start as a “Recruit” within the DWG community. There is a 30 day probation period, during which time the applicant does not have voting privileges and must put “DWG Recruit and the date of recruitment on your online gamer profile. You will also list the clan member that has invited you (sponsor) and or the recruiter. After your probationary period you may be picked to participate within a competitive division. Division’s base requirements will be listed under section (VII) category DIVISIONS. Specific requirements will be set and told to you by the division leader(s).
